For many, the fundamental meaning and importance of peace and democracy has never been as close to the skin as it is now. Collectively, we wonder, how is what is happening even possible? That a democracy is being dismantled with violence, lies and confused illusions. Bit by bit. That the obvious, in one breath, is blown away. Extinguished. That generations of lives, hopes for the future and dreams are destroyed.
- Never has the name of our art concept Rights Matter felt so obsolete, sounded so false, as it does now. But we cannot stop believing in humanity, in goodness, in the power that exists within and among people. Nor do we want to stop believing that our common agreements on people's fundamental rights and freedoms matter. That they are inviolable. My Human Rights now chooses, as before, to act by spreading visual messages that can be understood regardless of language or cultural background.
