A bill was introduced in Turkey that would allow men who have sexual relations with minors to avoid punishment if they agree to marry their victims. In connection with this, we translated Article 34 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child into Turkish:
Article 34:
"My body is just mine. No one has the right to look at or touch my body if I don't want to. I decide who I want to be close to. My country will make sure I am protected from abuse."
