Now My Human Rights together with illustrator Kari Modén is launching the new art concept "Rights matter". Art that conveys human rights.
"Human rights are universal. This is the reason why My Human Rights and I have created the art concept Rights matter", says Kari Modén, illustrator with the world as a field of work. "Rights matter is a series of motifs with strong, visual messages that can be understood regardless of language or cultural background."
"When rights are visualized and given form, they become available. Design can make people dare to show what they believe in," says Emma Wistrand, initiator of My Human Rights. "We have seen this in the work with our training materials where the design is a linchpin and a success factor. To be able to create this art concept together with Kari Modén is a dream, she is a fantastic illustrator," concludes Emma.
The first motif in the series, "In memory", conveys the equal value of all people and the fight against oppression, violence and structural discrimination.
