Today, on International Human Rights Day, we are launching a partnership with AcadeMedia, Sweden's largest education company. Our material The Children's Rights Game, based on the articles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, will now be available to thousands of teachers and students through AcadeMedia Academy's education catalog.
The partnership is an important step in raising awareness of the fundamental rights that belong to every child, and it is a chance to give the next generation the tools to understand, protect and stand up for these rights in their everyday lives.
- Our goal is for human rights to become a natural part of everyday life, not something that is only highlighted on special occasions. Through AcadeMedia, we can reach more teachers who, with the help of the Children's Rights Game, can empower young people to become ambassadors for their own and other children's rights," says Emma Wistrand, founder of My Human Rights.
At a time when human rights cannot be taken for granted, it is more important than ever to highlight the UN Declaration of Human Rights, the Women's Convention and the Children's Convention. The more people who learn about and stand up for the equal value of all, the better society we can create.
- The collaboration with My Human Rights provides both students and teachers with important tools to strengthen knowledge and commitment to children's rights. For us at AcadeMedia, it is natural to take responsibility for the society we work in. By highlighting My Human Rights in our education catalog, we show that children's rights are not just nice words - they are part of our everyday lives and something we must all protect, says Frida Gustafsson Wennö, Head of Development at AcadeMedia Academy.
