Workshop with scout leaders

In the beginning of June we were invited to the Scouts Region Syd's conference Scoutbuffé to talk and workshop about children's human rights. We worked with our educational material "I am a child. I have rights." which is an excellent and engaging tool for leaders teaching children's rights. We also demonstrated our game Barnrättsspelet.se, which is based on the articles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, a free, digital
tool suitable for children aged 10-13 years.

If you didn't already know, the Scouts are a fantastic movement for children and young people, with over 80,000 active members from north to south. The Scouts' mission is about children and
young people's right to meaningful leisure time, in line with Article 31 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. But it also teaches children important things like respect for others, self-leadership, and leading everything from small to mega-sized groups.

Thanks to Scouterna Region Syd and Scoutkåren Höör for letting us participate!
